Following my The Last Decade post, I’m following up with years 2003 – 2005. Aw, high school, how I do miss thee. No, not really. I hated high school with good reason. Enough talk, time for photos.
I love Music Monday. Why? Because it’s awesome of course. Lately I cannot get enough of The Audition. To me, they sound like a little bit of Pepper well blended with Anberlin then lightly sprinkled with some P!ATD. Truth is, I just really like their hooks, ‘I can show you colors that never existed,’ chyea. Take a listen.
I love going to Target with coupons. They have some of the best deals ever. I don’t utilize Target as much as I should because it’s really far and that whole shopping center is a mess. I did make a small trip there on Friday though and got away with 2 pillows, a Monopoly board game, a Connect 4 game, 10 Sobe LifeWater’s and a trial size Johnson and Johnson shampoo for $5.88 with tax. Why do couponers love taking pictures of their hauls and bragging? I have no idea but I’m following suit. I love free stuff.
Something recently possessed me to ransack all the photos on my computer and in the photo albums around my house. I laughed because at some and cried at others. Here are years 2000, 2001 and 2003 in the form of photo montages. These were my favorite photos of the bunch, there aren’t many and they aren’t very good but I enjoyed them. They show me how far I’ve come.
I made this diaper cake slightly different than my last few. I used to roll each of the diapers and I chose not to do that this time to save myself some time and effort. Not only was it easier but it looks better too. Total spent: $26.78 for 84 Huggies size 2 diapers, 3 receiving blankets, ribbon and paper fill. This one was super easy and I’ll definitely be making similar diaper cakes in the future.
I took some new photos today. I lost my voice. Haven’t been able to sleep. Busy like crazy. But these pictures make me feel all better.
